G5 Puppet Shows
During their exhibition, Grade 5 students can choose a variety of different ways to share their global issues. Possibilities include posters, movies, acting, singing, artwork, puppet shows and anything else you can think of. Today, we had some fun with puppets and discovered that sharing ideas using puppets was much harder than expected!

G2/3 Express Themselves
Grades 2-5 have all been practicing expressing themselves this week. We have looked at various paintings and answered the following questions about them:
1. Do you like it? Why? Why not?
2. How does it make you feel?
3. What does it make you think of?
We have also been working hard to learn new words to help us express ourselves more clearly. One activity that we did was matching adjectives to paintings.
We had fun sharing why we chose certain words for certain paintings, and it was interesting to hear our different perceptions of the same paintings.

Nikor shared some interesting ideas about all of the paintings and even turned them round to see them from different perspectives. |
Hyun Ho matched the word muddy to this painting, because he said it looked like a special day for them; they were having a party and dancing outside. |
Kim Chhoung said this painting made him feel like he was in an opposite dimension and had gone through a portal to another place. |
G4/5 Punctuation Kung-Fu in Action
In this clip, Kyung Won and Jun perform a short extract, adding punctuation in real-time. Can you work out which kung-fu moves are used for the different types of punctuation? We have full stops, commas, question marks, speech marks and exclamation marks in this extract. Enjoy!

Jae Hoon starts the week off well!
During the Chinese New Year break, Jae Hoon read some books. He chose one of them and created a poster about it, which he brought in to school this morning. He was a super risk-taker, because he agreed to present his work to his peers, despite feeling rather shy about it. Great job Jae Hoon!!
Great presentation! |

Well done to Nikor!
